Wow! Where does the time go? My life is so busy that I keep forgetting to update my blog so this update is about two weeks late-whoops!
So much has changed in the last month and Jaxon seems like a different baby altogether.
At Jaxon's two month checkup he weighed 15 lbs, 6 oz! It's like he ate another baby! He is such a chunky baby and he has lots of adorable rolls everywhere! I give him 4 oz at each feeding and sometimes he fusses until he gets a 2 oz top up. Because he is still pretty unpredictable about the amount he will eat, I don't automatically make him 5-6 oz bottles because I don't want to waste. I am proud to say that now Jaxon eats almost all breast milk-which also means that he eats more often, as breast milk is digested faster. Since he was 6 weeks old, I've been taking Domperidone 3 times a day and Fenugreek 2 times a day to increase milk production. I pump three times a day for 15-20 minutes and I'm now getting over 20 oz!
His sleep has been a bit better. There was one night where he slept 7 hours straight and I thought I'd gone to heaven! Sadly, it was just a one time thing and the longest he will sleep now is about 5 hours max. He still sleeps in bed with me, in the crook of my arm-which means that my quality of sleep isn't great because I'm always making sure that I'm not rolling over or moving much.
Jaxon is now in size 2 diapers and I'm so glad I only bought one box because he already fits in size 3's. I'm realllly hoping that I can make it through all the size 2 diapers before we delve into the larger sizes.
Currently, Jaxon is wearing 3 month or 3-6 month clothing. Because his feet are so big and because he is so long, he is outgrowing his 3-6 month sleepers and is now wearing the 6 month size!
