How Far Along: 39 weeks!!! Only 7 DAYS until my due date!
Size of baby: It's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.)
My baby this week: Your baby's waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
Sleep: Awful. I wake up frequently and have to get up to pee. I toss and turn and every time I have to move it's uncomfortable and painful.
Best Moment of the Week: Finding out that I am dilated and that I had made progress from my last appointment!
Movement: Some days he moves more than others. In fact, I even had to go to the hospital to check on him because he was barely moving. Some days he looks like he is trying to rearrange my stomach...so strange.
Food cravings: SUSHI!!!!!!! Omg....been dying for sushi.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!
What I Miss: I miss my body, as I've said before. I just want to get back to some kind of normal.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Going into labor!
Milestones: At my last check, I was 2-3cm dilated!!!!!
Emotions: Feeling like everyone but me is having their babies and that I am going to be pregnant forever. Really, really frustrating.
Symptoms: Back pain, nausea, vomiting, exhaustion, pelvic pain, sore feet, swelling ect ect.
